Mad honey is a rare, raw honey produced by bees that pollinate rhododendron flowers, primarily found in the mountainous regions of Nepal and the Black Sea coast of Turkey. Unlike regular honey, it contains natural compounds called grayanotoxins, which give it its distinctive effects and its name. It has been used for centuries in traditional Himalayan and Anatolian medicine.
